Arid Garden Park by Smart Phone

Holly and Grace will coach participants in photography and using their Smartphone cameras while exploring the Arid Garden in Green Valley. Topics will include subjects such as lighting, framing and composition, perspective, focus, portrait, square, pano, time lapse, slo-mo, and video. Participants will practice and evaluate their photography during this trip.
There will be an optional informational class on Smartphone Photography at the camera club on 3/14/19 from 1:30 to 3 pm. This class will be exclusively for the participants in the Desert Meadows and Arid Garden field trips. A reminder for the class will be sent by email 2 days before this class.
The Arid Garden
Our Mission: To maintain a peaceful and welcoming garden demonstrating the use of native and low water plantings for the education and enjoyment of all area residents.
The park is located at 1004 W. Camino del Arrendajo, Green Valley AZ 85622, in the Desert Hills subdivision, just off Camino Encanto, in the heart of Green Valley. Entrance to this 1-acre demonstration garden is free, and the park is open to the public from dawn to dusk. You'll find several paths winding past over 600 plants, shrubs and trees, as well as shaded seating areas where you may sit and watch the many avian visitors who also enjoy the park.
Meet at the Camera Club at 2:45 PM for car pooling and depart at 3:00 PM.
