January Travelogue
Notice change of venue, we will be in the Desert Hills Auditorium!
Come paddle Boreas Ponds, a recently opened wilderness area in New York State’s Adirondack Park. The Park can serve as a model for maintaining wild lands under threat of urban development. Holly Chorba explains the status and history of the park as she immerses you in a gallery of views of it’s central wilderness mountains, ponds, and woodlands.
Jack Sharrock will present a film about a trip to Alaska in 2015 for the January 21 travelogue. It is full of the natural wonders of our largest state.
Ride along on a Photo Safari thru the Wilds of Botswana with Shirley Schaller. Enjoy photos of a variety of landscape, animals, birds and area residents that found their way into the viewfinder of her Nikon Camera.
Patricia Leege will present a travelogue about Derry, Coleraine and Belfast Northern Ireland.
