Bird/Nature Photography: Canoa Ranch Lake 01/24/2023
Cost is $12
The Canoa Ranch Lake, directly on the migration flyway, is fast becoming one of the birding hotspots in our area. Birds as well as winter ducks are prevalent at this time of year.
This trip will be led by bird and nature expert, Sandy McMahan, who is a long-time teacher and trip leader. Whether you're an expert birder/photographer or a beginner, you will enjoy Sandy's narratives. If you have binoculars, you may want to bring them along. A small notebook and pen or pencil would be useful to record your sightings.
Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. A hat and water are suggested. Please wear your GVR Camera Club badge. Bring you own lunch if desired.
Meet at the Photography Club at 8:30 AM for carpooling. If you don't feel comfortable carpooling, you can drive your own car.
Mike McMinn will be our leader. For questions call Mike at (810)516-0220 or email at mikefore@comcast.net.
GVR is requiring that every person participating in club's field trips must sign a waiver absolving GVR of any liability.
