The best free entertainment in Arizona
SHOWTIME is back again and the upcoming performance is on Monday, February 6 and will begin at 7:00 PM at the Desert Hills GVR Center. No, the center is not closed as was perhaps rumored before the January Showtime. Yes there is construction going on but the center remains totally open.
In January we had 30 plus members who came to the center and an additional 20 joined via zoom. Let’s see if we can increase the live audience this time – we have plenty of seats at Desert Hills and a much larger screen as compared with the one on your computer.
And below is what you can look forward to enjoying on that large screen, or your small screen via Zoom.
Remember that SHOWTIME continues to have a well-respected reputation as the ‘Best Free Entertainment in Arizona’.

Showtime was initiated a few years ago to provide an opportunity for members to display short “slide programs” of their work to the community of photographers in the Photography Club and our guests. Members are invited and encouraged to submit their programs.
And by the way….we are in desperate need of programs for our monthly Showtime presentations. It is easy – take some of your photos from a field trip or other event and put them into a program. Use Windows Photos, iMovie or some other application to assemble your photos and add music of your choice.
In order to participate in this event, you must be a member of Green Valley Recreation.
