Equine Voices Horse Sanctuary and Rescue (3/23/2023)
Trip Cost $10
Attendees will tour the Equine Voices Horse Sanctuary and Rescue with their volunteer guide. One guide will be provided for every 10 people.
We will drive to the sanctuary and be met by a volunteer, who will guide us through the various stables and corrals. Flash photography is NOT allowed. The tour should take approximately two hours, ending around 12:00 PM.
Equine Voices requires a separate Agreement of Release, Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Form which must be filled out and submitted online prior to your visit. To fill out the form, click here. Please note that this form must be completed separately for each person. Multiple names CANNOT be put on one form. However, if you have filled out a form for a previous visit, you need not do it again.
You can also go into the Equine Voices website, click on About US, then on Visiting Our Horses. The link is a brown box that says Click Here to fill out Waiver Form.
During your visit, please wear a hat, sunscreen, and closed-toed shoes (preferably boots). Also bring plenty of water to drink.
Additional information about Equine Voices is available here.
The Sanctuary offers free parking for guests. For those carpooling, $5.00 is an appropriate contribution to the driver.

GVR requires that every person participating in club's field trips must sign a waiver absolving GVR of any liability. You will be required to sign the waiver at the Photography Club before the trip departs.

NOTICE:
All participants need to be responsible for an assessment of their mobility and health issues relating to field trips. Some trips may not be appropriate, but you must make that determination. However, the trip leader may deny participation in a specific field trip to anyone deemed not suitably prepared or able to walk with the group.
The club strives to provide several field trips specifically designed for members with physical limitations.
In order to participate in this event, you must be a member of the GVR Photography Club and GVR.
