Bird Photography Field Trip- Canoa Ranch Lake/Pond at Amado/Tubac Resort

Trip Cost $12

The trip will begin at the newly-renovated lake at Canoa Ranch, located on the major migration pathway, where you can see many birds on the move. Next we will travel to the pond at Amado for wintering ducks, and then visit the grounds of the Tubac Resort where we will be seeing various birds. Note: This itinerary may change to take advantage of sightings in nearby areas.

Led by bird and nature expert, Sandy McMahan, who is a long-time teacher and trip leader. Whether you're an expert birder/photographer or a beginner, you will enjoy Sandy's narratives. If you have binoculars, you may want to bring them along. A small notebook and pen or pencil would be useful to record your sightings.

Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. A hat, water and a snack are suggested.

We will be having lunch at the Tubac Golf Resort.
