Join us for the 37th Annual Wa:k Pow Wow on March 16, 2019 behind the San Xavier Mission del Bac Church in Tucson. Nations from across the Southwest are represented at Tucson’s largest gathering of Native American dancing, singing, arts, crafts, and food.

Begun in 1982 as a small social pow wow to benefit tribal fees committees, the Wa:k Pow Wow has grown in popularity with both participants and spectators. Contemporary festivities begin with cultural dances leading to traditional gourd dancing that gives way to an impressive Grand Entry that is followed by inter-tribal dancing, team dancing competitions, hoop dancing, two-step dancing, owl dancing, and a drum contest.

Food can be purchased at the event.
