UAS (Drone) Workshop
February 21, 2023-- Workshop from 9:30 AM to 12:00PM
A team from the Photography Club will be hosting a workshop on drone flight and how it can enhance your photography. The objective is to have each attendee get familiar with basic operation and will focus on the practical aspects of using a drone. Each attendee will get an opportunity to do some hands-on flying. Topics such as FAA regulations, camera usage, and automated flight will only be touched upon. The DJI series of drones will be used as a basis for discussions and exercises. Other types of drones or manufacturers will not be covered.
Currently, the registration is limited to 24 in-person attendees. Each attendee should be mobile as some walking is required to get outside and work with a drone (weather permitting). A waitlist will be available and waitlist members will be offered spots due to cancellations. No Zoom link is currently planned since this is a hands-on workshop in multiple areas.

In order to participate in this event, you must be a member of Green Valley Recreation and the GVR Photography Club.
The GVR Photography Club is located in the Recreation Village of Santa Rita Springs.
