Cost: Free but you must register to attend
In this class, you will learn how to use aperture priority, shutter speed priority, and floating ISO to achieve a variety of results. You will be introduced to the over and under exposure technique if we have time. You will learn birding etiquette, photographer’s etiquette and strategies. You will practice what you have learned in the hands-on portion of the class.
What you need for your class: adjustable camera, owner’s manual for your camera (if you have one), notebook, walking shoes, water, and hat.
We will meet at the Santa Rita Springs upper parking lot next to the Photography Club, then drive to Desert Meadows for the session. In case of inclement weather, we will meet in the Photography Club's Large Classroom. If you’d like to join us for lunch, then we will meet at Taco Giro on Abrego (Country Club of Green Valley).

GVR requires every person participating in Photography Club Field Trips must sign a waiver prior to departure absolving GVR of any liability. You may sign the waiver at the Photography Club or the morning of the trip, if you have not completed one already.
If you need to cancel, please contact the Field Trip Co-Chair Lynn Rosema at 719-351-5193 or email lrozema51@gmail.com. We may have people on the wait list to take your place.
All participants need to be responsible for an assessment of their mobility and health issues relating to field trips. Some trips may not be appropriate, but you must make that determination. However, the trip leader may deny participation in a specific field trip to anyone deemed not suitably prepared or able to walk with the group.
The club strives to provide several field trips specifically designed for members with physical limitations.
In order to participate in this event, you must be a member of the GVR Photography Club and GVR.
