We’re rediscovering the basics of film photography.

Topics include film choice, loading, camera settings, shooting techniques (shadows, highlights, ISO), prime lens skills, overcoming sharpness limitations, shooting limited shots, using filters, minimal editing, development (who to send or do it yourself), scanning, printing/enlarging, and where to send prints or create zines.

We’ll compare film and digital images to determine their strengths and weaknesses.

The topics, flow, and direction will be led by the group.
